I took a couple more nature photos that I really enjoyed. I also was in Massachusetts over the weekend and did some shooting there. My favorite photo in this post was the picture of the leaves. It was just such a beautiful moment.
I am really enjoying discovering myself as a photographer. It's a glorious journey.
The leaves are my favorite of this series... one has to fight the tendency to photograph whole things, "out there" such as the sculpture or the antique house. Getting in close, filling the frame with a detail and finding a strong composition that has expressive light makes for a much better photograph though.
ReplyDeleteI do like the knarley tree trunk too... The pictures appear bigger this week when you click on them.. a good thing.
One last thing, the first one with Falmouth Heights sign should have the focus on the sign itself as that is more properly the focal point of that shot.
