Introduction to Composition
Grade:
A: Successfully photographed shapes, reflections, light and pattern in an urban or town environment paying particular attention to the shapes you select in the frame and the quality of light on the subject. 6-10 excellent images posted to fotothing account.
B: One technical problem, including date stamp on, out of focus, less than good light.
C: Flash used, too far away... looking at a whole building instead of an element, technical problems such as under/over exposed, out of focus, etc.
D: Numerous technical problems. No fotothing images posted.1-2 Blog images posted
F: No work found for the week.
Please read the relevant section in the syllabus. I am looking for you to concentrate on light and composition using the built, not natural environment. Here is a Google images search for Photographic Design Elements. If is is built, made or constructed, that is fair game. Walking downtown (or a village) is a good place to begin. Working around you house may be good to do as well. Photograph at least 50 shots, then edit them down to your best 6-10 and post them here. Have fun!

If we aren't doing the fotothing, should we post 6-10 images on the blog?
